Newsprint paper

Newsprint is a thin, rough white paper made from softwood and/or waste paper with little or no fillers. For the most part, it consists of wood pulp, which determines the main qualities of newsprint - cheapness and low optical and strength characteristics. It is the cheapest of all types of paper for printing. Lignin contained in wood pulp turns yellow and becomes brittle under the influence of light, which worsens the consumer properties of paper over time. Designed for printing printed products with a large circulation and a short service life, mainly newspapers. Allows you to print both black and white and color editions, including high-speed printing machines. Grade B paper has the best characteristics for printing, followed in descending order by grades O, A and B. It is often used as a packaging or wrapping material.
